About HyperGen
A powertrain experience that isn't a compromise between performance or the environment
Currently based at Rossway Park Estate, Berkhamsted, UK, HyperGen was formed in September 2019 with the goal of accelerating the transition away from fossil fuels by providing a platform for alternate liquid and gas fuels to grow with, particularly in scenarios not currently covered by electric powertrains.
Research and development is focused around core upgrades to existing Microturbine technologies in particular improvements in compression, combustion, and turbine upgrades.
HyperGen is the result of the director going on a course to learn to repair marine diesels and getting annoyed that in 100+ years, we haven't come up with anything better.
With a more urgent need now than ever, it seemed like a good time to put a BEng(Hons) in Aerospace Engineering and an MSc in Engineering Project Management, along with periods of work at companies like Jaguar-Landrover and Airbus, to good use in creating an energy revolution.
